Felicity Maxwell is a literary historian and arts communicator who has danced her way back in time from ballet classes and Regency balls to the Renaissance. She has participated in the Historical Dance Society’s Renaissance Summer School and masque performance, made a poetry and dance video for the Limerick Early Music Festival, and taught dance workshops and played percussion at previous Galway Early Music Festivals. After GEMF 2024, she will study and perform baroque dance with the Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra in July. Given Ireland’s vibrant early music scene, Felicity is eager to create more opportunities for historical dancing.
