Leila Clarke-Carr is a Limerick based violinist from County Meath. She is finishing a Masters Degree in Classical String Performance under the mentorship of the Irish Chamber Orchestra at the University of Limerick. She primarily plays on modern violin in various different styles and ensembles, however she also enjoys playing on Baroque violin. She has played in side by side performances with members of the Irish Baroque Orchestra during her studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin and has performed with the Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra on multiple occasions, including a performance in Croatia in September 2022. In March of this year she explored playing the Vielle as part of a performance with the Limerick Early Music Festival.
