Starts at 2:00pm
Mick Lally TheatreBrenda Malloy, Renaissance harp, and Vincenzo Di Mauro, fiddle, will be busking in the Latin Quarter (weather permitting) from time to time, and the GEM Players will play upstairs in the Mick Lally Theatre between 3 and 4 pm in a relaxed drop-in performance.
The Latin Quarter is in the centre of Galway's medieval town. Take a walk around the area and find the marriage stones, curious carved animals and medieval windows. Many businesses have conserved medieval stonework, but you have to look closely!
Be sure to visit the Hall of the Red Earl, right across from the Mick Lally Theatre. Here you can see remains of the oldest building in Galway, discovered and preserved by the city and run by Galway Civic Trust / Dúchas na Gaillimhe.
