Kieran Moloney is a highly trained musical instrument maker who offers hand-made instruments and repairs. He received a full-time diploma in musical instrument technology, specialising in woodwind instrument construction and design. He did an apprenticeship with Tom Cussen at Clareen Banjos where he gained hands-on experience in instrument making and developed a flair for inlaying and engraving.  He worked in the USA for a musical Instruments distributor and joined the Northern California Association of Luthiers. This gave him the opportunity to attend workshops with some of the leading Guitar builders in the USA.

When he came back from the USA, he worked with violin maker Kevin Sykes in his Galway shop.  When Kevin moved his main workshop to Ballyvarry Co Mayo in 1996, Kieran took over the shop and established his current business.

Kieran offers a personal service to professionals and amateurs.  He offers discounted rates for educational equipment and reparis.
